Hi, I'm Bobby Nash. Thanks for visiting my website. I hope
you'll take some time to look through my artwork samples. I am a
portrait artist working primarily in the area of realism. Although
I've been inspired early in my career by artists such as Norman
Rockwell, Paul Gauguin, and Boris Valejo, I have honed my talent
over the years and developed my own unique style. I hope you like
it.
I've done artwork for many different venues, including two book covers,
political cartoons posted at
ArtistMarket.com, contributions to high-school groups, Tall's newsletter
(the At Large League, a prison-based juvenile awareness advocacy group),
and the Prisons Foundation (a D.C.-based organization that showcases
prison art to the public). I've even had my art displayed in an
ashram in Oakland, California!
Why so much prison-related work? It's all about working in your
community---and my community is the Morgan Correctional Complex in
Wartburg, Tennessee. I'm an inmate. Developing my artistic
talent is how I cope with incarceration. It is my vocation, my
passion, and my salvation. It is a blessing in my life that I want
to share with others. Through the kind support of George Hannye, a
SCORE volunteer in Knoxville, Tennessee, I have been able to post my art
on this website and hopefully reach those who understand what it is
meant to convey.
Happy Browsing!
