“Orange Sunset”
I would describe Orange Sunset as “tranquil and serene.” With this rendition, it was my hope to lure the casual observer into a more relaxed state of mind; an innate sense of calm as it were. The color orange and liveliness (in my view, at least). As the backdrop to an ocean-view, however, it evokes a more sublime feeling of peacefulness.

This piece was featured in the January 2008 business section of the Knoxville News-Sentinel. Motorcycles have long been symbolic of American freedom. The motocross-rider is an extension and, albeit, more modern representation of this freedom. The rider in the sky portrays “limitless” freedom.
